Greg Rose, President

Before starting CTG, Rose was General Manager of the Global Renal Therapy Business of Baxter International Inc. in Japan. Previously at Baxter he was Director of New Business Development for Baxter Limited (Japan), Manager of Business Planning for the Americas and Pacific Division (AMPAC), and Organization Planning Analyst in Baxter’s Corporate Human Resources Department.

Since Leaving Baxter, Rose has helped to establish and served as Representative Director of several companies including The Chicago Tokyo Group, Inc. (1988-present), MediSense Japan, K.K. (1995-1999), Aksys Japan, K.K. (1995-2007), Nova Biomedical Japan, K.K. (1996-1998), Total Renal Care Japan, K.K. (1998-2000), ResMed Japan, K.K. (2000-2004, 2014-2015), ev3, K.K. (2002-2011), Argon Medical Devices, K.K. (2010-2017), Beaver Visitec International Japan, K.K. (2010-2021), and Wright Medical, K.K. (2014-2021),  

Rose received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Wabash College where he was an Eli Lilly Scholar and member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his M.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University where he was a Harold Stirling Vanderbilt Fellow.
Rose is an active member of Tokyo Baptist Church where he previously served as Vice Chairman of the Finance and Properties Committee.

Susumu Sato, Senior Advisor to the President

Before starting CTG, Sato was the Bucho responsible for all non-sales divisions of Baxter’s Global Renal Therapy Business in Japan.  During his long career at Baxter, Sato was asked to do analysis, planning, and program management for some of the most important events in the life of the company.  He was on the team responsible for forming a wholly owned Baxter subsidiary out of what had been a joint-venture with Sumitomo Chemical, and for relocating production activities from Sumitomo to the new Baxter facility in Gifu.  Later he was assigned to the team responsible for introducing CAPD in Japan, and then to the team responsible planning and justifying construction of the $40 million CAPD manufacturing facility in Miyazaki.  When Baxter acquired American Hospital Supply, Sato who was appointed Chairman of the Post-Merger Consolidation Task Force in Japan.

(2014-2021).   He served as Statutory Auditor (Kansayaku) of ev3, K.K.

Sato received his B.A. from Doshisha University, a prestigious private university in the Kansai region, where he majored in Economics, specializing in Japanese economic history.
